Greg Davis


Greg Davis  is a native of Fort Smith Arkansas. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology from Lane College in Jackson Tennessee. Mr. Davis went on to serve in the United States Army both in the United States and abroad. He later went on to further his education and received his Masters Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Davis started Davis Broadcasting Inc in June 1986. He acquired radio stations in Columbus and Augusta Georgia. He later added stations in Macon and Atlanta. Davis Broadcasting Inc. now consists of six radio stations, three in Columbus and three stations in metro Atlanta.  Mr. Davis's community service is extensive; he has served on many boards both locally and nationally including Columbus Regional Hospital, United Way, Better Business Bureau, Columbus Chamber of Commerce, First Union Bank, and First Citizen Bank of North Carolina. Additionally, he has served on the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasting, Georgia Association of Broadcasting, and North Carolina Association of Broadcasting. Davis is the CEO, President of Davis Broadcasting Inc, based in Columbus and is married. He and his wife Cheryl have three children. 


The Georgia Radio Hall Of Fame is a Georgia non profit corporation and a  501 (c) (3) organization.
